Helpful staff, large breakfast, marvellous location. We had a double room with a view to the sea. 5 mins walk to the centre. Not far from the hotel there is a pub. We truly enjoyed Golden Lion from the moment we entered.

right by maryport maritime museum, 10 minutes' walk to maryport train station. breakfast is satisfactory. the bed was comfortable, best sleep ever.
